Sandy and Jake Clouse are long time residents of Thermopolis, Wyoming – home of the world’s largest hot mineral springs.
They enjoy the mountains, camping, wood gathering, Tai Chi, hiking, horses, grandkids, and home.
The Clouses’ herd includes two Icelandic geldings, Mozart and Svadi, and an Appaloosa gelding, Washakie. Smokey - an elderly
ranch gelding - died this spring after a long, long life. He was the original member of the Clouse herd, was a true friend, and is
greatly missed.
The Clouses first hands on experience with the Icelandic horse was a great Icelandic Horse Riding Clinic at the Icelandic Horse
Farm in British Columbia just a few years back. Robyn, Christine, and Mandy provided a wonderful introduction to these unique
and wonderful creatures.
Sandy is the Secretary of the Klettafjalla IHC. She and Jake are excited about the prospect of associating with and learning from
other Icelandic horse people.

Marisue Wells lives in Fort Collins with her husband, two Icelandic
geldings (Sidur fra Grafarkoti and Blakkur fra Sandholaferju), and two
Bernese Mountain dogs.
When she's not working as a software consultant, she loves
to trail ride, explore new trails, hike, and downhill ski - basically be
outside in the mountains!
Marisue is the Treasurer for Klettafjalla Icelandic Horse Club.

Cheryl Shelton is a long time resident of South East
Idaho.
Cheryl got her first Icelandic Horse in 1997 after wishing
for one for nearly 10 years. The number has grown over
the years and he currently has thirteen Icelandic horses.
Chery and her husband Bill have a small farm where they
raise Icelandic Horses and Icelandic Sheepdogs. They are
expecting several foals in spring and summer of 2006.
Although busy with grandkids, Cheryl still finds time for
the occasional ride. She is currently focusing on raising a
couple of great Icelandic Horses each year. She enjoys
working with the babies and giving them a great start in
life.

Julia Anderson lives in Fairplay Colorado.
I have four icelandic horses at this time. They each are
so special and very fun to ride. I find it so fascinating
how different they each feel and how their gaits and
dispositions vary.
We all went to a pair pace with the Arapahoe Hunt Club
this past October and dressed up in costume (2nd place).
We had a great time.
I am always recruting friends to ride with me on fun
outings, because the horses love to go out together.
Looking forward to meeting more icelandic horses and
their friends.
